Obituary
Rosetta Hurley, daughter of Charles and Martha Hurley, was born in Indiana, April 10th, 1833, and died at her home north of Bonair Sunday morning, Nov. 15th age 75 years, 7 months and 5 days, death being due to heart failure.
About 1857 she was united in marriage to J. M. Phillips. Ten children blessed their union, seven of whom are living and were present at the funeral, the other three having preceded in to the great beyond.
For over fifty years she was a loving wife and mother, always being more thoughtful of others than of herself. She was a member of the Christian Church. Funeral services were conducted at the home Monday afternoon by Rev. Luce.
She was laid to rest with loved ones in Phillips cemetery. Though we mourn her loss we know that “Jesus doeth all things well.”Card of Thanks
We wish to express our sincere thanks to the friends who assisted us during the death of our dear wife and mother, also for the beautiful flowers.
