Mrs. Hannah Phillips Funeral here Friday

Mrs. Hannah Phillips, 85, of near Bonair died in the Cresco hospital last night following a lingering illness.

Funeral services for Mrs. Phillips will be held from the Bradley Funeral home in Cresco Friday afternoon at 2:00. Burial will be made in the Phillips cemetery at Bonair.

Mrs. Phillips was born in the Bonair community where she lived all her life. She was a sister of the late Mrs. Barney Thorne.

Surviving Mrs. Phillips are two sons, Ward at home and Wendell Phillips of Waco, Texas, and one grandchild. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband.

Transcriber’s Note: Mrs. Phillips’ maiden name was Richards and she married Lewis E. Phillips November 8, 1895 per his obituary. Per cemetery records, she was born in 1874.
