Wednesday services for Lucille Murray

Services for Lucille Murray of Cresco will be held at 10:30 a.m., today, Wednesday, July 20, at the United Methodist Church in Cresco with the Rev. Allen Wiese officiating. Interment will be in the Phillips Cemetery at Bonair. Lindstrom Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Lucille, 81, died at the Howard County Hospital Sunday, July 17, 1994.

Lucille C. Murray was born December 7, 1912, at Saratoga, the daughter of Frank and Christina Ruzicka. She attended District 106 school and graduated from Chester High School in 1931, valedictorian of her class.

On October 25, 1938, she married Lyle Murray at the Little Brown Church at Nashua. They farmed for 11 years near Bonair before moving to Cresco.

Surviving her are one daughter, Diane Qvern, of Glenwood; two sons, Bill of San Diego, CA, and Gene of Coralville; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Lewis Ruzicka of Melrose, WI; and two sisters, Delores Foote of Lime Springs and Mary Speer of Brownsdale, MN.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Lyle, in February of 1994; her son Dennis; her parents; one sister, Clara Phillips; and a brother, Victor Ruzicka.
