Mrs. William Stejskal Former Resident, Dies
Funeral Services for Mrs. William Stejskal, 61, were held Monday at the St. Olaf Catholic church at Mabel with the Msgr. D.D. Tierney officiating. Burial was at the Calvary cemetery of Canton, with the Mengis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Stejskal was born on Nov. 8, 1910, in Howard county and was the daughter of Louis Urban and the late Marion Urban. She was married on Oct. 3, 1939, to the Late William Stejskal. Mrs. Stejskal was a resident of Howard County until six years ago when she moved to Hesper.
Mrs.Stejskal was preceded in death by her husband, mother, one grandchild and one brother. She is survived by three sons, Loras and Thomas of Hesper and John of Cedar Rapids, three daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Joan) Wickes of Kendallville, Clarita and Mary Ann of Hesper, five brothers, Francis and Louis of Cresco, Winzel of Schley, Thomas of Lime Springs and Joseph of Waterloo, six sisters, Ann, Mary, Leana of Lime Springs, Mrs. Edward (Helen) Sobolik of Cresco, Mrs. William (Esita )Schock of Waterloo and Mrs. R.J. DuCharme of West Bend, Wis. She is also survived by six grandchildren and her father of Cresco.
