Mrs. Detterding died at her home last Monday at the age of 79 years, 6 months and 14 days. The funeral was held Friday afternoon, services being conducted by Rev. Mathis, and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at Maple Leaf.

Transcriber’s note: Cemetery records show Mrs. Deterding was born July 17, 1835 and died February 1, 1915 and that the correct spelling was Deterding.
