John Costello,79,Cresco Native,Dies

Funeral services for John Costello,79,of St. Johns, Mich., were held May 6, at the Abbott Chapel of Maple Rapids, Mich. The Rev. Charles Van Lente officiated. Burial was in the Union Home cemetery. He died May 3, at the Carson City hospital following a short illness.

John Alfred Costello was born Feb. 19, 1893, in Cresco, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Costello. On Dec. 7,1935 he married Thelma Luckey. He moved to Michigan in 1938.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Darlyne Sizeman of Marshall, Mich., and Mrs. Kay Charles of Lansing, Mich.; a son, John H. Costello of St. Johns, Mich.; for sisters, Ella Costello and Mabel Costello, both of Cresco, Mrs. Edith Redman of Perrioton, Mich., and Mrs. Myrtle Smith of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and five grandchildren.
