KRUEGER, KLOMPS, LUNNSMAN

Charles G. Krueger for many years a resident of Albion twp., but for the past ten years living near St. Croix Falls, Wis., died there Oct 13th after a brief illness. His three brothers, William, Edward, and Daniel with their wives all of Albion Twp. attended the funeral. The following sketch of the life of deceased was written by his pastor Rev. C.G.Langley.

Charles G. Krueger was born in Cresco, Iowa, March 4, 1876. He was the second son of a family of eight children. His early life was spent at this place.

He was married March 2, 1904, to Miss Jennie Klomps of Cresco, Iowa, to which union four children were born: Alvin age 20 years, Alice age 17 , Lester age 12 and Helen age 4, all of whom survive him. He is also survived by three brothers and four sisters, he being the first of eight children to be called hence. The surviving brothers and sisters are: William, Edward and Daniel Krueger of Cresco, Iowa; Mrs. Henry Klomps of St. Croix township, Polk county, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Frank Lunnsman of North Valley, Wisconsin.

Mr. and Mrs. Krueger and family came to Polk county, Wisconsin, locating in St. Croix township, in October, 1915, where they have since resided. Here they affiliated with the Presbyterian church.

Mr. Krueger passed away, October 13th,1925,at the age of 49 years, 7 months, and 9 days, after a few days of illness affecting the heart. The deceased has not been in the best of health for the past year being affected with heart trouble.

Mr. Krueger was a man of good faith, being a loyal husband, a kind father and brother, and a good neighbor. He gained a host of friends in this country community where his last years were spent, who gathered in large numbers to show their high esteem.

The funeral was held in the First Presbyterian church of St. Croix Falls, Rev. C.G. Langley officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the St. Croix Falls, cemetery.
