Former Cresco resident dies

Graveside services for Hazel Ritter were held at the Howard Center Cemetery, northwest of Cresco.

Hazel, 77, died of cancer Saturday, August 27, 1994, at a rest home in Prairie du Chien, WI.

Hazel was born April 27, 1917. She and her husband, Eldred, farmed five miles west of Cresco for 40 years. She also worked at Lease Egg Company for many years.

Surviving her are relatives in Arkansas and Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldred, in 1985.
