Eldred Ritter, 75, services held March 22

Services for Eldred Ritter, 75, who died March 20 at Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital, were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Bradley-Lindstrom Funeral Home in Cresco. The Rev. Erling Doely officiated with burial in Howard Center Cemetery.

Eldred was born December 30, 1909, at Galena, IL, to Ray and Alice (Redfearn) Fitter. He married Hazel Sonhaber on January 13, 1945, at Oak Park, IL. Eldred farmed in Howard Center township until retiring.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel; and two sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Evelyn) Tass of Mason City and Mrs. Bernice Griest of Riverside, CA.
