Dorothy Kratz, 68, of Cresco died March 2

Dorothy Kratz 68, of Cresco died at the Howard County Hospital Thursday, March 2, 1995.

She was born November 16, 1926, in Mower County, MN, the daughter of James and Pearl (Lathrop) Lepa. She was married and later divorced. Dorothy worked as a nurses aide at the Howard Residential Care Facility before retiring.

She is survived by her sons, Brad Kratz of Waukon, and Darwin Dotzler of Milwaukee, WI, seven grandchildren; one step grandchild; one brother, Roger Lepa, of Lime Springs; and one sister, Marian Huffy of Storm Lake.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Phyllis Bowen; her parents; three brothers, Lawrence, Johnny and Dale Lepa; and one sister, Lucille Dotzler.

It was Dorothy’s request no services be held and interment will be at a later date in the Howard Center Cemetery. The family held a period of visitation at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Cresco on Sunday, March 4.
