Obituary

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Halweg mourn the loss of their little son, Raymond Halweg, aged 1 year 1 month and 23 days, who died last Thursday morning. Funeral services were held at the home Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Neidemeir of Cresco. Interment was in the Howard Center cemetery.

IN MEMORY OF RAYMOND HALWEG

Oh, weep not for Raymond, sweet Raymond above,
Around him are gathered God’s Angels of Love,
Safe, safe in your Heaven, where all is so fair,
Our Raymond, our beautiful Raymond is there.

No more shall he suffer, for all this is past,
No pestilence there spreads its wings to the blast,
No cord of affection is severed in twain,
No flower lies bleeding and dying in pain.

He lives and rejoices in beauty so bright,
Could mortals behold him, ‘twould dazzle their sight,
He lives and rejoices, O shed not a tear,
Though Raymond, dear Raymond, no longer is here.

No longer in body; and yet he will come
On pinions of light to his dear earthly home,
And whisper of peace and happiness given
To God’s loving children forever in heaven.

A Relative.
