Services Held for Henry Dotzler, Jr.

Funeral services for Henry Dotzler, Jr. of rural Lime Springs were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10 at Lindstrom Funeral Home in Cresco. Interment was in the Howard Center Cemetery with military honors by the Cresco American Legion and VFW Posts. Rev. Michael Simiele officiated with Lindstrom Funeral Home handling the arrangements.

Henry, 73, died Friday, November 6, 1998, at LaCrosse Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse.

He was born in Howard County, the son of Henry George Dotzler, Sr. and Clara Marie (Morgan) Dotzler. He attended rural schools and served in the army during the Korean Conflict.

He was united in marriage to Lucille Lepa Murray on May 14, 1960 in Cresco. They lived together on the Dotzler farm and quarry in rural Lime Springs. Hank, as he was known by most, worked for many years for Howard County on road maintenance and also took care of the Dotzler Quarry.

Survivors include step sons: Gary Murray of Cresco and Terry Murray of Lime Springs; four step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; and his brother Gerald Dotzler of Tucson, AZ.

Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille in 1992; his parents; and one sister Evelyn McKintrick.
