Mary I. Mulick, 93, of Cresco, Iowa passed away on Friday, March 2, 2012 at Regional Health Services of Howard County in Cresco, Iowa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Father Dennis Cahill officiating. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, with rosary recited at 4:00 p.m., and a scripture service to follow at the Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home 404 North Elm Street Cresco, Iowa. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Mary I. Mulick was born August 19, 1918, daughter of J. Emmett and Mae (Ahern) Carroll in Cresco. She graduated from Assumption High School in 1936. After high school Mary studied at Iowa State Teachers College to receive a teachers certificate. She taught in several Howard County Country Schools. She went on to study at Mankato Commercial College. Mary worked at Bergfolk Furniture, Cresco, as bookkeeper. On July 17, 1943 she married Lt. Gerald Regan at Assumption Church in Cresco. He was killed at Normandy on July 19, 1944. Together Mary and Gerald had one son, Daniel. On November 7, 1952 she married Al Weber. To this union 3 children were born, Colleen, Creighton, and Gary. Al died September 22, 1964. On April 4, 1967 she married Joe Mulick, he preceded her in death on January 16, 1992. Mary moved to the Evans Memorial Home in 2009. Mary is survived by her children, Dan (Joyce) Regan of Charlotte, NC, Colleen Lang, of Eden Prairie, MN, Creighton (Kim) Weber of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Gary (Sheryl) Weber of Decorah, IA; 4 grandchildren, Rebecca Kraiss, Rick Regan, Adam Weber, and Kathleen Weber; 4 great grandchildren, Jacob Regan, Ethan Kraiss, Rachel Kraiss, and Mary Kraiss; sisters-in-law, Edythe Carroll-Clark, Kathleen (Harold) Theile, Eileen Weber; brother-in-law, Leo (Marge) Weber; and several nieces and nephews. She was proceded in death by her parents, 3 husbands, her son-in-law, Leonard Lang, 3 brothers Ray, Gene, Jerry Carroll, and her foster daughter, Rita Burke.
