Services held for Henry Dotzler

Funeral services for Henry “Hank” Dotzler were held at 1:00 p.m Friday, March 12 at the Conway Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Holdorf, pastor of the Methodist Church in Lime Springs, officiated, Interment was in the Howard Center Cemetery.

Henry, 80, died Wednesday, March 10, 1999 at the Evans Memorial Home in Cresco.

Henry Dotzler was born January 3, 1919 in Howard County, the son of Edward and Mae (Shafer) Dotzler. He attended the rural school. Henry spent most of his life working on area farms near Kendallville and Granger, MN.

Survivors include one son, Dennis of Cedar Rapids; three granddaughters; three brothers: Edward of Ridgeway, Lyle of Annawan, IL, and Gene of Cresco; four sisters: Hazel Daws of Sioux Falls, SD, Charlotte Lepa, Edith Lepa, and Ann Hanni all of Cresco.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers: James, John, Dennis, Steve and twin brothers, William and Wayne in infancy; two sisters: Frances Long and Bessie Foley.
