SUDDEN DEATH--Mr. C. S. Miller of the firm of Britts and Miller, Lime Springs, Iowa, died on Saturday morning, last, very suddenly. The particulars of his death, as we gather them, are as follows:

On Friday, he was engaged in painting the sach or casing to a window, in his house, which was so high that it was necessary for him to throw his head back to see he work. He suddenly clapped his hand to his neck and groaned, as if in pain. His brother, who was present called in a physician, but nothing could be done for him, and he died in a few hours. It is thought that a rupture of the windpipe caused his death. He was a young man, whom to know was to respect, and he had the confidence and esteem of a large circle of friends, who, with his family mourn his untimely death.

His funeral took place on Monday, under the supervision of the Masonic fraternity, of which he was a worthy member. Verily, "in the midst of life, we are in death."

SUDDEN DEATH -- On Friday last, Mr. C. S. Miller of Lime Springs Station in the prime of life and the vigor of manhood departed life from a most singular circumstance. He had been giving instructions in regard to some painting over head and from a sudden movement of the head burst his windpipe. Medical aid was immediately summoned and hopes entertained of his recovery, but during the night hemmorage set in caused by the bursting of a blood vessel and in a very few moments the vital spark had taken its flight. In his death the community loses a true and trustworthy business man, the masonic fraternity of which he was a member, one of its brightest ornaments, his wife an affectionate and confiding husband. His remains were attended to their final resting place by the Masonic fraternity and a large concourse of citizens. Peace to his remains and sympathy to the bereaved.
