Sylvia Goetsch, 93, services May 13

Services for Sylvia A. Goetsch, 93, who died May 10, 1989 at Evans Memorial Home, were held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 13 in Zion Methodist Church, rural Cresco. The Rev. Allen Wiese officiated with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Lindstrom Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements.

Sylvia Goetsch was born May 16, 1895 at Bonair, the daughter of Lawrence and Mae (Phillips) Grabau. She married William F. Goetsch on June 28, 1917 at Bonair.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. (Alan) Mona Wohlsdorf of Cresco and Mrs. (Robert) Vera Easier of Des Moines; two sons, Lawrence and William E., both of Cresco; 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; also a brother, Earl Grabau of Lime Springs.

Her parents, husband and two sisters, Edith and Eva preceded her in death.
