Services to be held for C. Bigalk
Funeral services for Clinton Bigalk will be held at 2:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, November 8 at Zion United Methodist Church, rural Cresco. Rev. Lewis Flanigan will officiate. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Lindstrom Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Clinton, 87, died Saturday, November 4, 2000 at the Evans Memorial Home from Parkinson's Disease.
Clinton Charles Bigalk was born September 15, 1913 in Albion Township, Howard County, the son of Charles and Clara (Mandelko) Bigalk. He received his elementary education at the Lincoln School in Albion Township and graduated from Cresco High School in 1931. He then returned to work at the family farm, and continued to farm there for 60 years.
In 1992, because of poor health, he moved to the Evans Memorial Home.
Survivors include one brother Arvid; and four sisters: Beryl Lahr of Compton, CA, Thelberta Norman of Denver, CO, Carol Downey of Rogers, AR, and Shirley Davis of Cresco.
Clinton was preceded in death by one brother Roger.
