Prof. J.J. Kovarik and wife of New Prague, Minn., and John A. Dostal of this place, left Friday for Manly to visit Mrs. Kovarik's sister and the latter's mother who is reported very sick.
Died - Mrs. Eleonora Lukes passed away Sunday, Sept. 5, 1915, at the home of her son, John Lukes, in Tracy, Minnesota. The remains were brought here Wednesday and placed in the home of her sister, Mrs. Mary Andera. Funeral services were held Thursday at the Holy Trinity church and the remains were laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery. A large score of relatives and friends gathered to pay their last tribute of respect. Those from afar that attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. John Lukes of Tracy, Minn., Prof. J.J. Kovarik and wife of new Prague, Minn., Mrs. Albert Lukes of Ord, Nebr., James Kovarik of Walnut Grove, Minn., Mrs. Bily of St. Paul, Minn., Miss Josephine Kovarik of Cedar Rapids, Miss Mary Foster of Cresco, Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Kovarik of Spillville.
Mrs. Bily return to her home in New Prague, Minn. Tuesday, after attending the funeral here of her sister, Mrs. Elenora Lukes and also visiting her sister, Mrs. Mary Andera
Mrs. Albert Lukes and daughter, Florence, departed Tuesday for their home in Ord, Nebraska, after a visit with relatives and friends and also attended the funeral here of her mother, Mrs. Elenora Lukes.
