Word has just been received by relatives in town that Mrs. S. W. DeMoss (Eva McCook) passed away at her home in Cumberland, Va., on the 13th of January (1920). She was taken with a sudden attack of heart failure and died two hours later. Apparently there was delay in getting the advice to the children here and they were not appraised of her death until last Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. DeMoss had recently sold their farm and moved into Cumberland to enjoy the remainder of their advancing life. Burial was made at Cumberland.
