Elsie Thiedeman was born in Clinton county, Iowa, April 18, 1884, living at that place until the year of 1887, coming with her parents to Howard county, Iowa at which place she resided until the time of her death. About ten days ago she was taken sick with influenza which later developed into pneumonia which caused her death Friday night, Dec. 13, (1918). She was a patient sufferer for the past week. She was the youngest of the family of five children three brothers and one sister the latter with her mother having preceded her to the great beyond. After her mother's death about 15 years ago she had been the housekeeper for her father and brother Nick who will miss her constant care for them.

She leaves to mourn her death, her father and two brothers all of this place, also one half brother, Chas. Rosenzweig of Spring Valley, Minn. besides other relatives and friends who will miss her so much.
