On Tuesday evening, October 8, 1912, at the home of the bride’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. James Lewis, occurred the marriage of Mr. Chris Blaser and Miss Florence Lewis, Rev. Pless officiating.
The bride was attended by Miss Linnie Blaser, sister of the groom, and Mr. Ernest Ratz acted as best man.
Promptly at 8 o’clock to the strains of the wedding march, played by Mrs. Mayme Thomas of Wadena, Minn., cousin of the bride, the bridal party took their places.
Only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties were present.
The bride was attired in white messaline. The groom wore blue serge.
After the marriage ceremony, the people sat down to a sumptuous supper, to which all did justice.
The young married couple received many handsome and useful presents. They will reside on a farm south of town.
