A very pretty home wedding occurred Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Taft, when their daughter Lois was united in marriage to Alfred Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Smith, the cerremony{sp} being performed by Rev. Soper of Cresco; only the relatives being present. These young people have grown to young manhood and womanhood in our vicinity and are held in the highest esteem by all. The groom is a young farmer of good habits and all the qualities that go to make a good husband; the bride is a young lady of sterling qualities that will make the young man she has chosen for a partner through life a good and loving wife. We learn this young couple will depart soon for their future home in Cresco, acccompanied{sp} by the best wishes of a host of friends.
