Mary Lou Boal-Peterson was born Dec. 12, 1927, in Henry County, Iowa, near Swedesburg. She was the daughter of Raymond and Velma (Holley) Baker. She married Everett Boal on March 27, 1948. He died Aug. 17, 1988. She then married Donald R. Peterson Feb. 7, 1998.
Mary is survived by her husband; two daughters, Gail (Bruce) Wortmann of Bloomfield, Iowa, and Beverly (Scott) Murray of Ankeny, Iowa; and one son, Tom (Kerie) Boal of Columbus, Neb.;
