Harvey Grant married Mary J. McBride

I have found a mention of my 2nd great grandfather, Harvey B. Grant who married Mary Jane McBride in a family history book for Henry County, IA. In the history of McBride, John II, it mentions a "a family box handed down through the years, contained letters Harve wrote home while he was in the Civil War, they reveal many war experiences" I would love to have copies of those letters as Harve/Harvey is my 2nd Great Grandfather. The article was written by Mrs. Everett Boal. Is there someone locally who could find who has these letters and other history papers related to this family and make digital copies for me? I have a closed group Grant family Facebook page that I share historical and genealogy information with family members. Thank you in advance for response.
