I have a copy of a typed marriage announcement for
Clarence R. Hedden, and a Oda(should be Ode) Elizabeth Aker, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. J. T. Aker. The date says Friday, the fourth day of April 1913, Mt. Pleasant Iowa.
Did this marriage take place? My family(the Hedden),
know of no wife for Clarence. In 1917 he committed a murder, and was in prison until somewhere in 1950s or early 1960s.
