Some data for you that you may not have.....
Mrs. Sarah Dillon age 4l was married here in
Jefferson County IA to Thompson Grisham age 61
on 29 Sept l867.

She gave consent to the marriage of son Elias
on 4 May l871 as still Mrs. Sarah Grisham.

On birth records here at the Jefferson Co Iowa
courthouse Elias said he was born in Maryland
and his wife Louisa Adaline Lee as born in Davis
County Iowa, youngest child of Lewis Runo LEE

Divorce records of Sarah getting divorce from
Thompson Grisham are recorded in District Court
records box #30. I no longer do research as I
am 83 and just do not do it anymore.

We have no records of a Mrs.Grisham marrying
Thomas Hinshaw in Jefferson County AFTER May
l871.

Are you a descendant of Elias and Adeline?
In l881 they were living at Perlee IA in Jefferson
County, which was a wild coal mining town

I AM NOT A DESCENDANT. Do you know the name
Nipa Stolns who was a descendant working on this
Elias Dillen family in 2003?
