"Story of Lee County, Iowa," Illustrated Vol.1, 1914, says that Dora was the daughter of Peter Hott and Mary Harlin. She married William Shaw and they had one daughter, Florence M.who married Lute(Luther) Hixson and a second daughter Cyrene who died at age 28. After Shaw's death, Dora married Samuel Huddleston.
From other sources, Dora and Samuel's marriage was on 08 Apr 1880, Lee Co. IA. Florence M Shaw of Salem, IA married Luther Hixson 16 Dec. 1896, Henry Co. IA. Florence was born in Nov 1877 and died in 1969.
