Thanks Pat for the response and the link. I saw the link before my query and not to put too fine a point on my question. The page says "Name of Every Person who died...whose USUAL place of abode at the time his death was in his family". To me this does not for sure indicate the PLACE of DEATH. e.g. if said person died in an adjoining county would he not be listed in Henry County but in the other county?

Also as a point of research do these Mortality Censuses exist for other years other than those ending in zero? Or did Henry County keep death records such as these? If so how does one get to them short of a personal visit to Henry County
