Looking for any family information on the surname of PENCIL. Primarily a John PENCIL b abt 1810 in PA and died 16 Mar 1870 in Tippecanoe, Henry, Iowa. Also a George PENCIL b 20 May 1838 in PA and died 16 Nov 1920 in Ottumwa, Wapello, Iowa.

I have found 2 wives for George Pencil 1] Martha GRANT marr 9 Mar 1865 and 2] Angelina "Jennie" MOSIER marr 8 Feb 1882 both marriages I believe were in Henry County. I have reason to believe there was a third wife between Martha & Jennie with a first name of "Mary". 1880 census lists her without George and she is running a boarding house in Rome, Henry, Iowa.

Any information would be greatly appreciated especially marriage & divorce records on the above individuals.
