Lester Dietsch
NEW LONDON - Lester Dietsch, 83, died at his home, New London, Rt. 2, at 2 a.m. , Tuesday, Aug. 14.
He was born April 24, 1896, at Pleasant Grove, the son of Fred and Elizabeth McNamee Dietsch. He married Inez Stigge March 10, 1915, at Prairie Grove.
He was a farmer and a member of Farm Bureau.
Surviving: The wife; son, Leland, Festus, Mo.; four daughters, Erma Reynolds, Oneida, Ill., Iva Owens, Moline, Ill., Carol Staff, New London, rural, and Eva Knopp, Burlington; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, Lunning Chapel, Rev. Walter Russell; Prairie Grove cemetery. A memorial has been established.
