Inez Dietsch
Inez Dietch of Pleasant Grove died Friday, July 4, at her daughter's rural Columbus Junction home. She was 89.
She was born Feb. 3, 1897, in Des Moines County to Fred Stigge and Adina Breuer Stigge Sr. She married Lester Dietsch March 10, 1915, at Prairie Grove. He died in 1979.
She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.
She is durvived by a son, Leland, of Paevely, Mo.; four daughters, Mrs. Iva(Gomer)Owen, Columbus Junction, Mrs. Eva Knopp, Burlington, Mrs. Erma(Ross)Reynolds, Oneida, Ill., and Mrs. Carol (Marlan) Staff, New London; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and two brothers, Willis Stigge and Fred Stigge, Jr., both of West Burlington.
The family will recieve friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Lunning Chapel.
Mrs. Dietsch's funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Karolee Wirt officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established at Lunning Chapel.
