Ralph Wellington
Ralph (Beno) Wellington, 67, Tempe, Ariz., a long-time resident of West Burlington, died Monday at Tempe.
Mr. Wellington retired after 44 years of service with the Burlington Route shops. He was born July 20, 1901, in New London, and married Helen Marion Jennings.
Surviving: the wife; son, James Wellington, Scottsdale, Ariz; daughter, Shirley Speck, Tempe; brothers, Allen Wellington, Ft. Madison; Dick Wellington, Glendale, Ariz.; S.J. Wellington, Mt. Pleasant, William Wellington, New London; sisters, Charlotte Ball of Ft. Madison, and Mrs. C.O. McFarland and Mrs. M.J. Westerbeck, both of New London,; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Services will be in Tempe.
