Roy Woodall
Roy L. Woodall, 70, Rt. 1, Ft. Madison, died at 11:15 p.m. Sunday Jan. 17, 1988 at Burlington Medical Center.
Born Oct. 17, 1917 at Gladstone, Ill., he was the son of Harry “Jack” and Gladys Thompson Woodall. He was raised by his step-mother, Elma Martin Woodall. He married Mildred L. Huffman June 14, 1941, in Kahoka, Mo.

He was a member of the First Christian Church. He was a farmer most of his life.

Surviving are his wife, Mildred and two daughters, Mrs. Mary (Wayne) Barton, Danville, and Mrs. Carolyn(Jim) Denison, Lancaster, Texas; four brothers, Frank ”John” Woodall and Robert Woodall, both of New London, Harry Woodall, Salem; and William Woodall, Ft. Madison; three sisters, Mrs. Eva (Clarence)Watznauer, Big Springs, Texas, Betty Shockley, Montrose, and Mrs. Esther(Bobby) Stimpson, Carman, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call after noon Tuesday at the King-Lynk Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 Tuesday.
The service for Mr. Woodall will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the King-Lynk Funeral Home with the Rev. George Brown and the Rev. Henry Kudebeh officiating. Burial will be in the Claypoole Cemetery.
A Memorial has been established.
