Mrs. Ida Colton

Mrs. Ida Mariah Colton, 85, died at 12:10 a.m. Saturday in Burlington following an extended illness.
Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Elliot chapel, New London, Rev. L.Z. Patton will officiate. Burial will be in the Burge cemetery.

Mrs. Colton was born Dec. 25, 1874 the daughter of Joseph and Mariah McKinney, and was married Nov. 13, 1889 at Pleasant Grove to Nathaniel Colton who died March 13, 1936.

She was a member of the First Christian church, Burlington.

Surviving are four children, Joseph H. of New London; George D. and Mrs. Ersa Stucke, both of Mediapolis, and Ralph E., Layton, Utah; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. A son, a daughter, two sisters and three brothers are dead.
