Florence Miller
Florence I. Miller, 72, of 1223 N. Seventh St., died at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 5, in the St. Francis Continuation Care Center.

Born May 12, 1915, in West Burlington, she was the daughter of James and Minnie Colton Schindall. She married Everette Henry Miller, April 20, 1935, in Monmouth, Ill. He died June 21, 1972.

She had worked at the Burlington Public Library. She was a Member of the First United Methodist Church, A.A.R.P., and Senior Citizens.

Surviving are two sons, Larry Miller, Belgium, and Harold Miller, Burlington; one daughter, Karen Miller, Chicago, Ill., and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Prugh’s chapel.

Services for Mrs. Miller will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Prugh’s Chapel with the Rev. Robert Dodder officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the Steamboat Senior Center.
