GUY COLTON’S INJURIES FATAL
West Burlington Man is Sixth to Die as Result of Accidents this Week

Death of Guy Colton, 39, 210 Ramsey street, early yesterday morning brings the total of deaths from accident within a week among West Burlington residents to six. Colton died at Sigourney of injuries received Monday morning when he was run over by a truck while he was doing road work for the Central Engineering company of Davenport.

He was born in Pleasant Grove township, January 27, 1891 and moved with his parents to West Burlington when he was 13 years old. He was married 16 years ago to Jane Dunn, who survives him, as does one son, 12 years old. Other living relatives are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel Colton of West Burlington; three brothers, George of Burlington; Joe Colton of New London; and Ralph Colton of Ft. Clark, Texas, and one sister, Miss Ursa Colton of West Burlington.

The body was brought here last night and was taken to Prugh’s chapel. Funeral arrangements will be made later.
