Gladstone, Ill. - Funeral for Virgil E. Davis, 95, of Gladstone, who died Sunday, Jan. 14, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Fiedler funeral home, Stronghurst, Rev. John Grimes, Olena Cemetery.

He was born May 20, 1878, at New London, Ia., the son of Theodore and Laticia McMahon Davis. Mr. Davis was a truck driver.

He married Pearl De Vauld.

Surviving: The wife, five sons, Lee, Oak Harbor, Wash.; Wilbur, Chicago; John, Baton Rouge, La.; Frank, Media,; Russell, Long Beach, Calif.; one stepson, Paul DeVauld, Burlington; three daughters, Mrs. Goldie Leiper, Ventura, Calif.; Mrs. Bessie Stenzel, Bellflower, Calif.; and Bernadine Stevenson of Florida.
