Elizabeth "Liz" Grace Wellington, 93, of Mt. Pleasant, died Monday, Aug. 15, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

The graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 18 in Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Edward R. Peterson of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Following the service, family and friends are invited to a luncheon at her home at 301 N. Jackson St. in Mt. Pleasant. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17 at Weir & Kimzey Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m.

Survivors include six grandsons, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three sons and two infant brothers.
