FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN BURLINGTON

Mrs. Effie Lettia Taylor, 80, of 710 Dunham, Burlington, died Monday at 11 p.m. in her home. She had lived in Burlington for the past 50 years.

The daughter of John W. and Mary Jane Prier Willy, she was born March 6, 1884, in New London. She married Charles Taylor in June of 1925 in Burlington.

She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, James of Coriapolis, Pa., and Gene of Carpentersville, Ill.; one sister, Mrs Edith Willey of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews, including John and Wesley Willey and Mrs. Joe Brown, all of New London.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and four brothers.

Services will be held today, Thursday, at 2 p.m. in Prugh’s chapel, Burlington, with the Rev. Arnold H. Wieman, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
