Mrs. Nina Willey Claimed by Death

Mrs. Nina Willey, 75, died at 6:25 Friday morning at the Memorial hospital.
Born January 17, 1882, she was the daughter of Alfred and Julia Smith Pierce. On July 4, 1901 she was united in marriage to Alex Willey. Mrs. Willey was a member of the church of the Latter Day Saints.
Surviving are four daughters: Mrs. Olive McDowell, Mrs. John Sizemore, Mrs. Francis Walters, and Mrs. S.J. Wellington, all of Mt. Pleasant. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Stella Robbins of Hillsboro, one brother, Seymour Pierce of Mt. Pleasant and nine grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, four sisters and two brothers.
Services will be held at the Cookes funeral home Sunday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Brooks Cemetery in New London.
