Erwin Smith’s death occurred at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Maxwell, near Lockridge. He fell a short time ago, breaking some of his ribs. Pneumonia developed and he lived but a few days.

Mr. Smith, for a number of years, made his home with Mr. Becker.

The funeral was held at Cedar Church Saturday afternoon at two o’clock, interment being at Cedar cemetery where his wife was laid away more than a quarter of a century ago. Rev. Weston of Mt. Pleasant conducted the services.
