Mrs. Jessie E. West, 82, former Fairfield resident, passed away in Sacramento, Calif., Wednesday, where she had made her home for the past 13 years.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiating.
Members of the family will receive friends at the Raymomd Funeral Home from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Friday.
Jessie E. West was born March 4, 1891 in Mount Pleasant. She was the daughter of William and Jennie Neil Litzenburg.
She was married to Hurber B. West who preceded his wife in death Nov. 10, 1947. For many years the family home was at 600 S. Fifth Street.
Mrs. West is survived by one son, Raymond West, Sacramento, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Max Sommerville, Stevens Point, Wis.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Raymond West was former circulation manager at the Fairfield Ledger until he and his fmaily moved to California some years ago.
