WILMA HOOVER

Wilma Margaret Hoover, daughter of Paul and Edith Hoover, was born in Henry County, Iowa, March 10, 1915, and passed away at the home of her aunt, Mrs. R.D. Glover, September 26, 1932, at the early age of 17 years, 6 months, and 16 days.

Wilma's mother passed away when the daughter was only 7 years of age. After this time she went to make her home with Mrs. Glover, her aunt, living her entire short life in the Charter Oak neighborhood. Her school days were spent at the Charter Oak school, coming to High school in Mt. Pleasant and entering the freshman class with the opening of the current school year.

At the age of 15 years, Wilma was converted at a meeting being held at the Lee Town Mission, and since that time made every endeavor to lead the life of a young Christian girl. With her aunt she was a regular attendant at the Baptist church school and church, keeping her faith in Christ as her personal Saviour.
