DEATH OF JOHN HANLEY.

This morning Mr. John Hanley, one of the bright young men of the city, died at the home of his uncle, Thos. O'Hern living south of town. Mr. Hanley for a long time has been a faithful employee at the Gas Works, and was also interested in the butcher shop of O'Conner & Hanley on the south side. At a social gathering about two weeks ago he caught cold, that developed into typhoid fever and later into congestion of the brain, resulting in his untimely death. He was unmarried, about 25 years of age, of good moral habits, steady, industrious and in every way worthy the esteem in which he was held. The funeral will take place Thursday morning.
