Ronald R. Vandenberg

Ronald Raymond Vandenberg, 28, a resident of the YMCA, was fatally stricken Thursday, Aug. 28.

The son of J. Raymond and Pauline Gill Vandenberg, he was born July 18, 1947, at Farmington. He served in the US Navy in the Vietnam war and was an employe of Arledge Air Freight.

Mr. Vandenberg was a member of First United Methodist church of Mt. Pleasant.

He is survived by his father, restaurant manager of Holiday Inn and mother; three sons: Richard Vandenberg, Winfield, and Charles and John Vandenberg, both of Burlington; a sister, Rebecca Sue Grinstead, Chariton, and two grandmothers, Mrs. Mark Vandenberg, Mt. Pleasant, and Mrs. Mae Gill, Hillsboro.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday, Lunning chapel, Dr. Carl Wilson; Forest Home cemetery at Mt. Pleasant.
