Frank Wesley, Sr.

MT. PLEASANT - Frank Wesley, Sr., 85, of Salem, died Wednesday at 3:15 a.m. in Memorial hospital, Mt. Pleasant.

He was born May 24, 1882, in Iowa City, the son of John and Julia Shipidor Wesley. Dec. 30, 1913, he married Mary E. Cooper at Omaha. She died Aug. 13, 1966. He was a retired farmer of the Trenton community and a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic church, Mt. Pleasant.

Surviving: Five sons, Paul, Barstow, Calif.; Frank, Jr., Memphis, Mo.; George, Lockridge; Charels, Salem; Merlin, Mt. Pleasant; five daughters, Mrs. Richard Trueblood, Mrs. Nathan Fetterman, both of Salem; Mrs. Bertha Shannon, Silver Spring, Maryland; Mrs. Donald Alexander, Oaklawn, Ill.; Mrs. Ronald Henderson, Peoria, Ill.; three sisters, 44 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.

Services: 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Alphonsus Catholic church, Mt. Pleasant, Fr. Lawrence Vogel officiating. Rosary by the parish at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Beatty Funeral chapel, Mt. Pleasant; Salem East Cemetery.
