Wayland News – April 20, 1910

Frank Clark Drewer was born December 14, 1872 and died April 16, 1910 being 37 years, 4 months, and 2 days old. The deceased was the son of Joseph and Susan Drewer, and was born near New London, Henry County, Iowa and made his home in Henry County until four years ago when he, with his family, moved to the western part of this state. He was married February 7, 1894 to Minda Matilda Nott and to them were born three children – Homer Frank – who with the wife and aged parents are left to mourn the death of a kind son, husband, and father. Hattie Viola and Leslie Raymond only lived a short time to gladden the home.

He was sick over three months but bore his sufferings very patiently and during his sickness, he was converted and baptized and we fully believe it was well with him, and he is now at rest with his Saviour.

Funeral was conducted by the writer on Monday, April 18th, and interment was at Green Mound cemetery.
