Mary Margaret Scarff
September 3, 1913 - November 6, 2005

Mary Margaret (Ewart) Scarff, 92, died Saturday, November 26, 2005 in University of Iowa hospital. Born in Robinson, Illinois on September 3, 1913, she was the daughter of Elizabeth and Samuel Ewart. She was a life-long resident of Mt. Pleasant. She as an alumnus of Mt. Pleasant High School and Iowa Wesleyan College. Her beloved husband of 56 years, Lawrence V. Scarff, died in 1990.

She is survived by her cherished children: a son and daughter-in-law, Ewart G. and Elizabeth K. Scarff of Bella Vista, Arkansas and their daughters, Leann Smith and Deborah Perdzock; a son S. Thomas Scarff of Chicago and his children, S. Anthony Fejer, Siena Scarff Waldheim and Seaton Scarff; a daughter, Marianna Scarff McKee of Longmeadow, Massachusetts and her son CJ; a son and daughter-in-law, David L. and Hope Dyall Scarff and their daughters, Misty Blaskey and Shasta Holmes and ten great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held in the Spring. Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 15089, New York, NY 10018 or the charity of one's choice.
