SERVICES FOR ACCIDENT VICTIM

Funeral services for Arvid L. Thomson, who was killed in an industrial accident at Keokuk Thursday afternoon, were held at the Round Prairie Baptist church Saturday at 2 p.m. Around 250 friends and relatives attended.

Officiating were Rev. Harlan McGill, Rev. Howard Welch, Sigourney, and Rev. Herbert Clark, Mt. Pleasant, all Baptist ministers. Burial was at Lambirth cemetery with the Mt. Pleasant American Legion performing military rites at the graveside.

Mrs. Harlan McGill and Mrs. Ray Billingsley sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "Sweet Bye and Bye." Mrs. Jay Barton played the piano.

The pallbearers were Carl Burky, George Schroeder, Nathan Elliott, Arlo Humphrey, Earl Humphrey and Carl Glasford.
