Mr.Alva Archibald of Lowell, a gentleman well known to New London people, died quite suddenly Tuesday night from heart disease. The funeral was held Thursday in charge of Rev. Gaines, of Danville, and the interment in Lowell cemetery. Mr. Archibald was 66 years of age and had been a citizen of Lowell many years, his father, Dr. Edwin Archibald, deceased, having settled there in pioneer days.
